My wife and I just had an excellent mid-week, overnight visit to Chesapeake City and the Inn at the Canal. The inn's host, Bob, was very welcoming, the upstairs suite was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, and breakfast was hearty. August heat in an upstairs room was a bit daunting upon arrival, but a window ac cooled the bedroom down and ensured a wonderful night's sleep.Wonderful place to stay. Would definitely visit again.
Room and host were perfect. Breakfast was awesome, and there were bars.
